Presentation of the project

A new renovation project is coming on. That concern a 1966 912 model that came from the US.

That rolling chassis is partially disassembled due to an abandoned project.

The car needs a full stripping, new floor pans, some panel beater work, a new original paint job, a full mechanical maintenance with a complete front & rear drive line renovation (breaks & lines, suspensions, bearings, silent blocks).

The gas tank and fuel lines will be replaced and new upholstery will be done as well.

All the original parts are present, well, almost ... and in pretty good condition.
At the moment we noticed that the front hood crest (orange bars), the rear hood PORSCHE letters, both 912 emblems (glove box & rear hood), one rear custode (rear vent window) lower moulding, the rear hood latch (upper), the round exterior mirror, the stop light switch,  has been lost in the last work shop where the car has been seating down for a while, seat belts are incomplete.   not a big deal...

The engine that has been fully serviced and tested on a bench, is out of the car seating on a wood pallet with his gear box.

WE STARTED THE JOB WITH THE GAS TANK, FRONT BUMPER, HOOD HINGES, TRUNK BOX COVER, FRONT FENDERS DISPOSAL, LOWER FRONT TRUNK LATCH.

DOORS, HOODS, REAR BUMPERS, WINDSHIELDS, REAR VENT WINDOWS WAS ALREADY DISMANTLED.

LOCKS MECHANISMS AND GLASSES HAS TO BE TAKEN APART FROM THE DOORS.

TRIM & RUBBER HAS TO BE DEMOUNT FROM THE FRONT BUMPER.

FENDERS HAS TO BE DISMANTLED (FUEL TANK NECK, OPENING FLAP, SCREW CLIP NUTS)

IT TOOK A GOOD 8 HOURS WITHOUT FUCKING AROUND.
